SUBJECT: ENJOYING MY LIFE IS A REQUIREMENT OF LIVING IN THE NOW
Ecclesiastes 4:8 ~ Easy-to-Read Version
I saw a man who has no family, not a son or even a brother. But he continues to work very hard. He is never satisfied with what he has. And he works so hard that he never stops and asks himself, “Why am I working so hard? Why don’t I let myself enjoy my life?” This is also a very bad and senseless thing.
- Why are you working so hard to take care of grown, unappreciative human beings? You’ve already raised them and taken care of them one time. When is enough enough. When do you start to put a plan in motion for them and stick to it?
- The more you see the more you want. Then these things have to be paid for; so you work work work to pay for them. But if you’re working hard to pay for the things how can you ever enjoy them? When will you be satisfied with what you have?
- Stop and ask yourself why are you working so hard? Right now the answer is in your head but I want you to really sit down, ask yourself that question, and write your answers down.
- Last but not least ask yourself why don’t you let yourself enjoy your life. The word says this is also a very bad and senseless thing. What!?!? You mean God wants us to enjoy our lives.
This man didn’t even have children and he was working hard. For those of you that don’t have kids and you’re working hard for stuff. It’s time to make some changes and if you’re working hard for other people it’s time to make some changes. At what point are you going to focus on yourself and enjoying your life. Tomorrow isn’t promised to us we’ve got to LIVE IN THE NOW and cease every second of everyday that God gives us.
STOP working yourself into the ground for ungrateful, disobedient, lazy human beings that continue to be disrespectful to you. Why are you working yourself to death take care of them? You don’t owe them anything. FREE yourself of any guilt or shame.
The word of God says it’s senseless not to enjoy your life. The best way to do this is to let grown people be grown and get them out of your pockets.
Last but not least stop working g yourself to death to leave an inheritance to people that appreciate what you’re doing for them right now. If they’re financially unstable now what do you think they’re going to do when you’re gone.
