SCRIPTURE: Daniel 3:26-27 – King James Version
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
Verse 26: Well what do we have here?; onlookers that have been observing while you’ve been in the furnace.
Yes, the same ones that threw a rock and hid their hands, the same ones that said they must have done something bad, the same ones that counted you out and the same ones that pushed you in the furnace.
They knew that this furnace would be the end of you. That you’d give up on God and walk away from everything that you trust in. But you didn’t. You stayed in the furnace and endured hardness as a good soldier. YOU SURVIVED IT!
YOU LOOK GREAT, SMELL GREAT, YOUR HAIR IS FLAWLESS and now THE SAME ONES THAT THREW YOU IN THE PIT & AGREED FROM THE AMEN CORNER ARE WATCHING YOU WALK OUT.
Verse 27: Everyone that was there when you got thrown in the furnace are present and accounted for as you come out of the furnace. They get to be a witness to the fact that YOU SURVIVED IT! YOU LOOK GREAT, SMELL GREAT, AND YOUR HAIR IS FLAWLESS.
Look at the power of God in our lives. By now we know HE is always with us. In great times, mediocre times, bad times; HE is always there.
So because we know this, as we go through whatever is coming our way we already know WE’RE GOING TO SURVIVE IT! WE’RE GOING TO LOOK GREAT SMELL GREAT OUR HAIR IS GOING TO BE FLAWLESS AND THE SAME ONES THAT THREW US IN THE PIT & AGREED FROM THE AMEN CORNER WILL WATCH US WALK OUT.
